WHAT DOES OUR TRAINING PROGRAM INCLUDE?
This comprehensive exposure to our unique methods includes everything you need to develop your skills as an effective career coach. This includes both foundation instruction in our techniques and an on-going coaching/mentoring relationship with Nicholas Lore that will help you continue to grow professionally.
• Basic training includes approximately 20 hours of video instruction with Nicholas Lore. There is an enormous amount of information contained in this series; as you go through it at your own pace, you have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss what you have seen with Mr. Lore. The two of you will work together to deepen your skills and understanding.
• As an independent associate of Rockport Institute, you are one of a limited number of individuals world-wide who are licensed to use our technology and purchase Rockport career testing materials. The training in interpreting and communicating test results to clients, alone, is of enormous value to anyone who seeks to help people make the best choices.
• After initial training, you will use your new skills with clients, while at the same time continuing the telephone coaching process. Though our training is briefer and more concentrated than a Master’s degree in career counseling, we believe that most people who apply themselves can be much more effective than those who have a traditional career counseling education. Even a beginner eating peas with a big kitchen spoon can beat a master of eating peas with a toothpick!
• As long as you are an active affiliate, we will continue to coach, mentor and advise you solving specific problems with your clients and encouraging professional growth.
• As the field of career coaching continues its rapid expansion, you will continue to have access to our ongoing research and development, the result of our commitment to constant improvement.
• Five complete Rockport Career Testing Program including scoring and interpretation are included in the cost of becoming a trained Associate.
