The Benefits of Our Programs
Do you want work to be more of a dance than a drag? Work is a drag for so many
people for one reason: they picked the wrong career. With the tools now available
to you from Rockport, this is completely unnecessary. Rockport has brought
career success and satisfaction to thousands. Choose your future, rather than
leaving
it to chance.
Clients
participate in our programs to answer the big question: What am
I going to do with my life? You should participate if you want to have a career that you love and want your talents to be in perfect sync with your work.
What if your work included most of the following benefits?
- Your work
is a natural expression of your talents and personality, so
you fit with your work like a duck fits in a pond.
- It fits
you so well that work often feels more like play.
- You are
proud of what you do.
- You are more
successful, satisfied and productive because you are doing what
comes naturally to you.
- You are highly respected at work because you are so good at what you
do.
- Less stress
(which leads to better health).
- You do not
have to pretend to be someone else at work.
- Heightened self esteem.
- Your own best
and most natural forms of creative expression are what you are
paid
to do.
- The environment
you work in brings out your best efforts.
- You
look forward to going to work most of the time.
- Your job rewards
your most important values and allows you to fulfill your goals,
in terms of personal growth
and achievement,
income, stability, etc.
- The
result of your efforts makes a contribution that personally
matters
to you. You don’t
spend your days working toward something that you
don’t
really care about.
- Your job directly
fulfills your work-related goals.
It does not create barriers to realizing your other
goals.
- You like the
people you work with.
- You are on a winning team that is having a great
time getting the job done.
- A day on the
job leaves you feeling energized, not burned out.
- People who
are engaged in satisfying, challenging careers usually achieve
a higher degree of success than people who do not passionately
care for what they do. They are healthier, live longer and tend
to be more satisfied with other aspects of their lives. An ill-fitting
career contributes significantly to stress and depression, and
has a profoundly negative effect on self esteem.
Wherever
you are in your career journey, it is extremely important to
make the best possible decisions. If you choose well now, your
life will be enriched in many ways by your work. If you make
a mistake now, you will place an unnecessary burden on your
shoulders
that may become heavier over time.
Helping you make great choices that achieve results.
Our testing program provides you with an accurate assessment of
your natural talents and abilities and personal traits—the
most basic, bottom line information you need to begin to design
your future career.
Testing
your innate abilities, talents and personality traits helps you
decide on a future that makes best use of your strengths. It is
the single most effective way to know what sort of work will give
you the highest levels of satisfaction and success.
Our Career Choice Program is designed to guide you even farther. It coaches
you through the whole career design process to the point that you are sure
exactly what work you will be doing. In nearly all the other career programs
you could participate in, clients just explore possibilities. There is no real
methodology to coach you through to the final decision about your future work.
The Pathfinder Career Choice Program is completely different from other programs.
In a survey of clients who had recently completed the program, eighty seven percent said they had reached all their program goals.
